En date du 17 juillet 2020, La Ministre du Commerce, du Transport, de l‘Industrie et du Tourisme Honorable Immaculée NDABANEZE a effectué une descente au Bureau de Liaison de la SOSUMO sis à Bujumbura.
Cette visite s’inscrit dans le cadre du suivi quotidien des activités commerciales surtout dans la commercialisation du sucre qui, dans ces derniers jours s’observe des spéculations dans différents coins du pays.
Arrivée au Bureau de liaison de la SOSUMO, elle a été accueillie par le responsable de la vente qui l’a expliqué que dans nos jours, la SOUMO produit de la quantité suffisante du sucre et lui aussi ne comprend pas la raisons qui pousse aux commerçants de spéculer sur ce produit qui est disponibles dans les stocks de la SOSUMO qui sont dans différents points de vente.
La SOSUMO avait dans son stock de Bujumbura plus de 300 tonnes du sucre a distribuer a la population et la preuve est que les camions étaient là pour le chargement du sucre achetés par les grossistes et selon la liste des grossistes qui devaient s’approvisionner en sucres, pas mal d’entre eux étaient déjà servi.
Concernant les nouveaux quartiers de la ville de Bujumbura ou on ne trouve pas des grossistes qui achètent du sucre a la SOSUMO, la Ministre en charge du commerce a fait appel aux commerçants de ces endroits pour venir à la SOSUMO afin qu’ils puissent servi du sucre.
Elle a terminé sa visite en mettant en garde tous es spéculateurs du Sucre que, une fois attrapés, ils seront sanctionnés sévèrement
